Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law
The Law School building is the home to all programs and services of the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. It offers state-of-the art classrooms and facilities focused on student needs. Opened in 2009, the School of Law is approved by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.
The innovative building has received LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council and includes five state-of-the-art courtrooms, including the Martin G. McGuinn Ceremonial Courtroom.
Approximately 720 students study full time in the J.D. program, which provides more than 100 offerings including foundation courses, specialty offerings, drafting courses, clinical experiences, seminars, simulation courses and externships.
The building also features computer labs, dining facilities, student lounges and a 500,000 volume law library.
