The highest-achieving first-year applicants are invited to join the Honors Program, which stands at the forefront of Villanova’s commitment to excellence. Students from all colleges who enroll in this selective program engage in the creation of culture and connect their talents with a sense of their responsibility to lives of service.
In this rigorous, four-year program, students attend small, discussion-based seminars; carry out original research projects and are mentored by nationally renowned scholars. All Honors Program courses are taught as small seminars. Class size is normally restricted to 16 students, with primary emphasis placed upon student initiative in discussion, research and presentations.
