Student Leadership Opportunities
From the day they arrive on campus, Villanova students have opportunities to exercise and hone their leadership abilities. Through clubs and organizations, service programs and University-wide initiatives, students play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant campus life and advancing the University’s mission. Villanova is dedicated to supporting those efforts.
Events such as St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service, Orientation and the Special Olympics Fall Festival, place students in unique roles as event organizers, where they develop strong leadership skills. The Leadership Learning Community for first-year students enables experienced and new leaders to learn and practice skills that will help them to be more effective in whatever they do. The Office of Leadership Programs offers resources to help organizations to train leaders, solve problems and access experiential exercises.
