The College of Nursing contributes to the world of health care in many ways, namely through the work of its centers.
The Center for Global and Public Health extends the College’s engagement in global health studies and research, addressing health-related factors important to the quality of life in various regions of the world and populations within our own country.
The Center for Nursing Research is the focal point for scholarly inquiry. It coordinates and supports research activities within the College, in collaboration with other Villanova academic areas, as well as external entities.
The MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Education serves as a model for education and research promoting healthy weight management, and the prevention and reduction of obesity-related diseases.
