Villanova prepares its students for successful careers and rewarding lives. The University’s educational approach, based on the teachings of St. Augustine, is to engage both heart and mind. This means that the Villanova experience isn’t only about intellectual growth–it’s about your growth as a whole person. Offices across campus provide resources to students to ensure Villanovans reach their unique developmental goals, whether they are choosing their majors, obtaining research scholarships or living healthy lifestyles.
The Villanova School of Business’ Clay Center, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ Office for Undergraduate Students (OUS) guide students from orientation to graduation through academic advisement, leadership, professional development workshops and career counseling. The Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowship (CURF) prepares students to pursue fellowships, grants, scholarships, and awards for study and research projects.
Through education and programs the Office of Health Promotion provides students resources to create healthy learning environments in which they can make responsible, educated choices to maintain balance. Learning Support Services provides learning and study skills resources for all students who wish to enhance their academic experiences in preparing to meet their educational goals. The Learning Commons located in Falvey Memorial Library support students’ study needs by providing one-on-one support from staff and tutors.
These are a few of the many offices on campus that provide Villanovans a foundation for lifelong success.
